Io, Fuoco


I am the one who plays too close to the fire,
Ma non sta me bruciato.
It surrounds me, it's in me, it is me.
You'll find me standing still, dancing
in a tornado of sparks and light.
Bare skin- hot.
Moment consciously incomprehensible.
Moved by sound,
Living on the light
and the heat that is within
and without
I am the blazing inferno
that I need to be near
Born into flame:
Io, Fuoco.
