It is hot. It is really fucking hot out. In a few minutes, we're going to shut the computer down so that we can turn on the air conditioning. (Remember the electrical situation in this house? It both sucks and blows. There is precisely one outlet in this house that can take such high-draw items as computers and air conditioners. And if we so much as turn a coffee pot on on the same circuit while the air conditioner is on, it blows the power in the house.

So...air conditioning wins. I guess what's going to happen is that we're going to turn on AC til it cools down, then turn it off for a while and go back to being able to use the computer.

Have I mentioned how I hate this house?

Looking for a 2-bedroom place (we'd not argue with more rooms, but do not require them), house or apartment for $800 or less if utilities are separate, or a it more if utilities are included.

Which apartment complex is this? where is it located?

Taylor Park apartments (they don't show up in the typical apartment searches), though rent there is $900 base, plus an extra $25 for every furball every month. it's at Taylor Ave and Rt 1/Bel Air Rd, in Overlea.

1100 sq ft, full size washer and dryer in every apartment, big eat-in kitchen and balcony/patio, as well as a designated parking spot for each apartment. it's right off one of the bus lines, if memory serves me correctly. here's the website if you're interested. the only thing i really disliked were my immediate neighbors. all my appliances were new, which i liked.
