So, the letter to the editor that I wrote earlier...I was poking around the same newspaper's website to see how if I could actually read the letters but you can only access that if you subscribe to the paper.

So...I decided to give the paper a call. I ended up speaking to the same person that sent the reply that the letter would be used and asked him about seeing when the letter would be run, and what other responses may have come in. He said that he didn't have a way for me to access that on the website, but my letter will be used either Sunday or Monday, and if I were to send him an email next week, he would be happy to forward any other letters in refernce to the article or responses to me. He was very friendly and thanked me for writing.
