I got my application to BCCC in the mail yesterday. Filled it out yesterday too. It took me roughly 3 minutes.
So weird from when I was filling out applications in high school. I applied to three schools- Vanderbilt University, University of Alabama (main campus) and of course Southern Methodist. All of them had applications that were what...7? 8? pages or more.
I faxed in a request for my high school transcript last week. Why on earth can I not get a copy sent directly to me? Am I not allowed to know what's there? (Not that I don't really know.)
I know. BCCC is a community college. I'm not knocking it. As long as they're gonna teach me what I want to know, hey, whatever gets the job done. It's just weird.
I'm trying to figure out what I want to do here. They have certificate, but not degree, programs for network specialist and web development. They have a degree program in telecommunications.
Somehow or other, I also want to take some humanities/language/art type classes.
