*scratches head* you've never seen anyone twist her hair up and use a pen or pencil to keep it up? wow...like EVERYONE did it in high school...lol...it's convenient and utilitarian...but even more fun with funky hair sticks. I used to have several funky-painted pairs of chopsticks that i used as hair sticks.

I've seen LOTS of girls do that to their hair and been envious wishing I knew how to do it with mine...or that mine would be long enough to do it with. :(

it's east to do, just kinda twist and stick. dunno how long your hair is, but mine's about 6" below my shoulders.

spiking it up with pens? yeah...let's use a bunch of Bics to stake my 'do up sky-high.
