badstarI woke up today with a REALLY irritated throat. It was rainy and icky, but became absolutely gorgeous around 1..though very windy. I called off work mostly because all the coughing was giving me unbearable headaches. Took some cough syrup, and drank a bunch of tea. Aside from a short trip to the bank and a stop off at XS to pick up a sandwich for lunch, I spent the day watching TV, trying to stave off headaches (Couldn't remember where exactly I put that darned bottle of Aleve, though I remember now.)
As of the last hour or so, the headache is gone and the cough is dramaticaly lessened...not totally gone, but mostly. The itchy ear thing that comes at the end of every cold is settling in. That'll be fun for a few days.
And I haven't posted here on the journal, but I think most of you know by now that the party on Saturday has been cancelled. I'm looking forward to coming home from work Saturday evening and spending a nice, long night carefully examining the insides of my eyelids. The party will happen...sometime. Next weekend I get to go gadding about in Delaware.
(Yeah, it's that time o' year again..PLAYA DEL FUEGO! Woohoo! *Ubersupermegahappydance*)
Oh yeah, and I started knotting myself a belt of recycled silk. To be finished in the next few days.
