Dec. 4th, 2002 12:50 amIt's kinda cold here. 10 degrees according to the thermometer, and that's right against the house.
Mom took me out last night for my birthday, we just went to the Lodge. I had 4 drinks in fairly rapid succession and then thought I was going into sugar shock or something.
I was drinkign Grateful Deads, which are pretty much Long Island Iced Teas, but no tequila and they add raspberry schnapps and Blue Maui. So it's an INCREADIBLY sweet drink, and Hans just made them sweeter and sweeter. The first one was great, but by the time I got to the 4th one, I was done for the night and couldn't stand to drink anyhitng but water after that. Bill was djing and being a total butthead. Came home and Mike gave me the pair of nunchucks that he finally made for me, that I've been wanting and asking for since I was like 15. Yay...so I can twirl nunchucks now anytime I want.
I crocheted myself a hat yesterday...and Samantha immediately confiscated it, so I made her her own, then chelle wanted one, from a different yearn...only other yarn I had was plain white acryllic yarn, but that was ok with her. Ick. I don't even know why I've got it. It looks like an oversized white yarmulke, but it's how she wanted it. OK.
Dad actually remembered my birthday this year, but I think he thought it was today. Oh well, and improvement from last year...I got acknowledgement last year I think it was on Christmas Eve, he said "Oh, you're birthday was a few weeks ago, wasn't it?" Um, yeah. "Oh, ok. I thought so" Acknowledgement, but never even said happy birthday, sorry I forgot, go to hell, whatever.
But I got nunchucks, so it's all good. Nunchuka, more accurately.
