I'm Just Glad I'm Not Sick....

Woken up rudely by Chelle screaming...get dressed...ran downtown, attempt to go to AC Moore, only to run into an anti-war protest about to start...ran to the market, grab some lunch, come back to the protest, helped hand out some flyers, hold up signs, stuff like that....people drummed, I had to dance...dancing for peace! yeah! There were about 250 people there...and then about 6 people across the street, waving bibles and screaming about how we shouldn't be protesting war, we should be protesting our sins. Ummmm...ok.

Afterwards, went to AC Moore. Spent some quality time looking at stuff....beads, paint, all kinds of fun...got a couple of packs of semi-precious stone chips and a whole bunch of embroidery floss...I'm gonna crochet myself a sarong...and then I came home and Chelle handed me a whole bag full of even more floss. Yay. I'm set for a while.

Last night I was afraid I was coming down with a cold...but I slept from 8 pm to 8am, except when mom woke me up around 1 to find out where I was. Love it when mom does that. And apparently, I was just feelin icky from being tired.

I need to find something to do for New Year's Eve since I won't be in New Orleans...haven't heard anyhting from anyone in Baltimore or DC, but maybe that'll change. I'm also supposed to visit Tanner for a day or two. We shall see.

Lalala...methinks I'm going to go clean out my email inbox some and then go work on my sarong....
