Heap-O-Thoughts
Jul. 14th, 2003 12:49 pmI need to start painting again. I have too many mental images that the world needs to see.
Product review:
Those clear, waterproof baindaids SUCK. I bought a pack the other day to put on the cut on my hand...they're so thin and flimsy that the first one just crumpled on itself and stuck. To itself. The second one wrinkled a little on the one end, no big deal. But the whole business came right off as soon as the tiniest bit og water hit it. Oh...and there's no way to get the little paper tabs off the bandage without touching the little white pad that covers the cut. That's not sanitary.
So yeah...find a different kind of bandaid...I didn't expect them to be TOTALLY waterproof, but I thought it would at least stay stuck through a small spritz of water. Puhleeze.
And on a happy note, I found this really excellent body scrubby stuff at rite aid..."pure brown sugar" body scrub, something like that...it smells yummy, like a cake or something, kinda vanilla-caramel-cream-y. I was half tempted to taste it. But...apparently I know better, and I content myself with smelling it in the jar and on my skin. Hehehe.
Must go to post office today and return the book America BC to Grandma Jane.
I read the Virgin Suicides last night. Want to see the movie. Sad book. Not exactly what I expected it to be from what I heard/read about it, but well worth reading.
Someone just told me that the average woman consumes 6 pounds of lipstick in her life. Wonder what the nutritional value of that is?
