Glad I'm Not Up In PA...
Mar. 8th, 2005 08:14 amTalked to my Mom a few days ago. Apparently things are REALLY interesting up there right now....as in Chelle, Mike and Anthony ALL living at my grandmother's again. And on top of that, everyone's injured. Chelle had surgery on her arm to remove a bone and isn't alllowed to work til May. Mike and Anthony both got jobs at some place in Lititz and on the first day of the job, a pile of lumber or something fell on Anthony's foot and broke it. He wen to the hospital for X-rays but didn't get it casted. If ever there was someone who CANNOT afford to mess around with a broken foot it's Anthony. (Has some Uber-rare disorder where the bones in the feet don't get proper blood flow and will eventually end up in a wheelchair for it. There are only like, a dozen known cases in the world...I forget what it's called.) A few days later, a steel beam hit Mike in the eye and cut his cornea. And a couple of days after that, he was out playing in the snow with Samantha...and fell and broke his foot. At least he had the sense to get it casted. Mike's usually the one to do stupid things like get 3rd degree burns and wait a week to bother checking with a doctor. AND Chelle was outside at one point shovelling snow when she slipped and fell on HER casted arm.
OK...we're talking about my siblings and my grandmother. Under one roof. 4 immature, tantrum-prome children they are (That's not even counting Samantha). 3 of them injured. I'll stick to office politics thanks.
