The problem with LJ: we all think we are so close, but really we know nothing about each other. So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about. Ask away. (But keep it simple.)

Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you.

This is not screened.

Gaaaaaah!

Okay, this is ridiculous.

Sometime Sunday, Steph's boyfriend from Tennessee shows up. Except that she didn't bother to tell us who he was, just "This is Shawn." I thought it was just a local friend hanging out for the evening or something cause if nothing else, I could have sworn she'd said that Mr. Tenessee's name was John And Mea didn't notice because he looks almost just like Stephs friend Poppy. Which is really funny. Except he's taller and skinnier than she is.

So ding dong, I'm wrong.

So last night, he was here. And today, he's still here. And it occurred to me to ask him earlier..."So, you're from Tennessee, right?"

Affirmative. We chatted a bit, I asked if he was actually moved to Baltimore at this point, he said he was "visiting for a while." I didn't say anything to him about the situation at hand, I'm kinda doubting that it's his fault that Steph didn't say anything. He seems like a really nice person, but that doesn't do anything to change the fact that there is a stranger hanging out in my house.

Strangers are cool, but you don't just have someone come to visit for extended time without warning the other residents. A few days...no big deal. Two weeks? Please. "Hey Renee, Mea, just wanna give you a heads up- Mr. Tennessee is gonna be here for two weeks, is that cool?"

Steph was there the whole time and never bothered saying anything to me. The possibility of his visiting in November/December came up some time before Thanksgiving, but then it didn't happen, and was never brought up again til...surprise!

Grrrrrrrrrrrr.

Ummmm....so last night was really fun. After work, I went to Owings Mills...and after waiting around for a ong time due to some crazy breach of communication, [livejournal.com profile] kalki, kalki's husband, and [livejournal.com profile] linzbinz came to pick me up and we attempted to go to Starbucks, but they were closed. So we went to Dunkin Donuts and had lattes and donut holes.

It was really awesome, cause I've been online friends with [livejournal.com profile] linzbinz since like 2001 and we live on opposite sides of the country, so we never met til last night. I only got to hang out with them for about an hour, which was sad! But it was fun. I dont't remember how I met [livejournal.com profile] kalki, except that she's friends with Linny and [livejournal.com profile] unprotoize

Around 3 this morning I woke up with borderline migraine. Which stayed that way til wel into the mid-morning hours before it went away. So I didn't go to work. Once It did go away though, I decided to wander down to the library and finally got a library card for Enoch Pratt. And proceeded to get some funny looks and "Uh...we'll try to get that by interlibrary loan" in looking for some books for the Dedicant's Program.

I posted most of the info about my full moon ritual to the Grove Forum- all the important info except for the actual text, which I couldn't because I left my legal pad at work yesterday.

I'm seriously thinking about taking up archery. I was pondering this for a while, and had no idea hw or where I could do such a thing in the Baltimore area...and then Sunday at the Grove, Mike was talking about teaching archery and longbow construction.

I'm gonna go to sleep now.
