Steph text messaged me today to let me know that there's no internet service at home. Wen I called her back, she told me that it logs her onto a page where it asks you to log in and check your billing status.
I called Verizon.
That money that they said I didn't have to pay cause I should never have been charged to begin with? Yeah....they've decided to shut the account off because of that.
I've had it.
No more Verizon. I'll have to tangle with them later. The roommates wanted cable, but no one has the money to sign up for that.
So I just signed up for Cavalier. I talked to them and confirmed that my dispute with Verizon wouldn't present an issue with getting service with them. I'm not trying to carry over a landline phone number or anyhitng, so it shouldn'tbe a problem. We'll have DSL and landline phone. They told me it'll probably be 8-10 days, so we won't have net access at home for a little while.
