My Day So Far

badstarMy day so far:
710 AM wake up in the middle of a bizarre dream involving someone stealing a bunch of clothing and some books from a bag that belongs to me.
722 AM attempt to leave house. While locking door, my little glass bottle necklace fals out of my pocket, and breaks on the brick tile floor. I find a plastic baggie and pick up all the glass and the stones that were once contained in the bottle. (Note to Steph and Nicole: I went over the steps with my bare hands to make sure I left no glass. It broke into relatively large pieces, and broke cleanly.)
730 AM Attempt to leave house again. Walk outside and realize that the 85 pound leather coat is only heavy for show or somehting and is NOT going to keep me warm. I'm going to be late anyway, so I have plenty of time to run upstairs and get my burgundy coat. Come back in and Jesse comes downstairs to ask what's going on. I tell him and he offers to give me a ride into work so i'm not late.
828 AM Get in with just enough time to grab a cup of coffee. Spend the next 45 mintues or so playing n Livejournal.
915 AM get a call. Regret waking up this morning.
Wes: "Hi, how are you this morning?"
Me: "I have a train wreck on the line."
Wes: "Like, local Baltimore light rail train, or like CSX freight train?"
Me: "Like, the entire Swiss railway exploded."
Wes: Makes a face and runs away.
1030 AM Finally get to take my break. Only 15 miutes late, could be worse. I want to go home already.
