Thank you, angelofastheny for the drop-stitch scarf idea...I'm not doing that, but I am doing a drop-stitch shawl. It will be awesome.

I love the big-open-weave texture...

(I literally dropped every other stitch when I got to the end of the piece. I'm doing it in three segments, I did the first segment over the weekend and this morning and now I'm working on the dropping....)

I'm in the process of an extensive dropped stitch shawl, but stitches aren't dropped until you're midway through the shawl and I'm so scared some of the stitches aren't going to drop. :D But it's fun to purposefully be dropping stitches, I think.
