chironcentaur had this link on her journal to an astrological birth-chart website analysis thing, and I'm tethered to a desk with nothing to do. I decided to see what they had to say. It seems that if I were to go by this, I've got split personality disorder or somethign, with one personality being pretty much what I really am, and the other being so boring, I want to run away from myself just reading it. Oh, and I should be a writer I guess. But I should also work in law, medecine, social work and science. I'd better get busy.
The sun represents vitality, a sense of individuality and outward-shining creative energy.
Sun in Sagittarius
She is good, idealistic, enthusiastic and warm-hearted. She is independent, has a taste for travel and freedom. She is pre-disposed to a professional career.
Weaknesses: She is too adventurous and leaves things to chance: takes risks which cause problems: she is rebellious and has a playful spirit.
(I can't really argue with much of this, excppt maybe the "predisposed to a professional career bit.)
Sagittarius ascendant Gemini
Sun in VII
Marriage or living together with someone of superior intelligence.
(What about it?)
150 Conjunction Sun - Mercury
She is intelligent and knows what she wants. Is a good organizer, she likes moving, travel. She likes literature.
(Can't say I'm the greatest organizer but when I want to be, I'm pretty good. Otherwise, no contesting what's said here.)
124 Trine Sun - Jupiter
She has high social ambitions, respects justice and the law. She is tolerant, optimistic, kindly. She has every chance for professional success in a strictly legal setting.
(High social ambitions? I'm hanging out with the wrong people :-P
Respects the law? Eh...within an order of magnitude I guess. But I wouldn't say it quite like that.
So I should work in a legal setting then?)
-66 Square Sun - Saturn
This implies slow intellectual development. 124 Conjunction Sun - Neptune
(But it just said I was intelligent! *points to conjunction sun-mercury)
She has a fertile imagination, is full of inspiration, and very emotional - all qualities that she uses on the professional level. She likes the Arts, beauty.
(Can't really say I use much of this on a professional level, though sometimes the job requires some uh, imagination.)
The moon represents a reaction, unconscious pre-destination, and the self-image.
Moon in Capricorn
Fearful, taciturn, reserved. Attracted to politics. Has few friends because of reserved nature. Success comes by means of other people, who recognize her qualities.
(Wait, so I no longer have social ambition? And I thought I could be so successful in a legal profession. I'm confused.)
Weaknesses: material worries, savings, restrictions. Does not get carried away by love.
(I'd say my weaknesses lie elsewhere.)
Moon in VIII
She has a tendency to bad dreams. Possibly has romantic phantasies. Is interested in the occult.
(Hmmm...if by "tendency" you mean once or twice a year." Romantic fantasies? Oh yeah, you should see the stash of novels under my bed...Interest in the occult? Yeah, that's kinda hard to deny.)
74 Trine Moon - Saturn
She controls her feelings. She has a sense of duty, of self-esteem and is prudent. She can concentrate on a long-term task, manual or intellectual. She perseveres and is serious in everything she does.
(Wow. so now I'm boring.)
62 Sextile Moon - Uranus
She is imaginative and has the Moon's intuition complemented by Uranus' independence and originality. Her life is out-of-the-ordinary, with lots of changes and a great knowledge of the world not through reading but through personal experience. She likes the sensational, new things. She acts instinctively, but fortunately has a good sixth sense. She likes to be surrounded by original people, artists.
(Or do I have split-personality disorder? I like this one better.)
Mercury represents communication, Cartesian and logical spirit.
Mercury in Sagittarius
Democrat, philosopher, tolerant, respectful of laws. Likes foreign travel. Believes that everything teaches you something.
(Already discussed the law thing. And why yes...I am a registered Democrat, though i'm not entirely sure that's what they're referring to here. Otherwise, good.)
Weaknesses: free spirit, that likes adventure and will leap into hazardous and risky affairs.
(They say this like it's a bad thing?)
Mercury in VII
Hates being alone. She has lots of friends, likes to discuss and similarly has a lot of work friends. Likes to write.
(I think I like to find a balance between being alone and being with friends. It just happens that i'm around people a lot more than not. I am, however the only one of my siblings that is okay with being alone and not constantly in the presense of OMG Someone! Anyone!)
187 Conjunction Mercury - Mars
She likes to discuss, likes polemic. She has good judgement and is determined. She is a worker and has lots of energy. She has a lively intelligence and goes to the heart of things.
(Okay, I can't really argue with this one)
269 Conjunction Mercury - Neptune
She can put down in writing everything that her imagination and intuition dictates.
(There's a lot about writing here...)
97 Sextile Mercury - Pluto
She has a great sense of observation and quickly grasps the situation. She is crafty, subtle and critical.
(I like to think so.)
Venus represents an interest for emotions and values, exchange and sharing with others.
Venus in Scorpio
Sensual and passionate, she likes love, the act of making love. Passionate loves, full of ardor and desire where the partner needs to be able to match her level or else recriminations will follow. While being passionate, she is also jealous and possessive.
(I am so not jealous and possessive)
Weaknesses: if disappointed or deceived in love, she can become bitter and odious. She hates the person as much as she used to love. Only jealousy can be as strong as hate.
(Um, no.)
Venus in VI
She is devoted to sick or poor people. Certainly works in a medical or social setting, where she meets their partner, who is a great help professionally.
(Actually, no, this really isn't true.)
-66 Square Venus - Jupiter
She is nonchalant, pretentious, full of self-importance. She likes what is beautiful and sometimes ostentatious, and spends lots of money for the sake of appearances. She likes to please and has numerous amorous adventures. She is unfaithful and undergoes tribulations in love.
(I think I hate me after reading this.)
Mars represents the desire for action and physical energy.
Mars in Sagittarius
Fights against principles, society or a philosophy. Reasoning, ability to explain things, logic and debate.
Weaknesses: she goes to excess in the battle against moral or other principles. Has a somewhat revolutionary spirit, is intrepid but presumptuous.
(Presumptuous?)
Mars in VII
She dominates her associates, colleagues. She is the same in love life, dominating the spouse and this makes for a stormy relationship in prospect.
(no.)
165 Conjunction Mars - Neptune
Her feelings are dominated by wisdom and geared towards the ideal. She likes water, sea voyages. She likes odd people.
(Hehe...someone knows my friends...)
Jupiter represents expansion and grace.
Jupiter in Leo
She is ambitious, wants to impose herself, to be someone, while nonetheless having sincere and pure feelings.
Weaknesses: pride, haughtiness, arrogance.
(This is kinda contradictory. So what is it? sincere and pure or haughty and arrogant?)
Jupiter in III
She has good judgement, a sense of values, an open and optimistic mind, a good education and high moral standards. She likes studying. She is successful in communications work. Her professional work is a vocation and plays a great part in her life.
(They have some interesting ideas about what I do for a living.)
Saturn represents contraction and effort.
Saturn in Virgo
She likes order, harmony, method and balance. She can undertake long-term medical or scientific studies.
(I can?)
Weaknesses: she is intransigent, stubborn. Misuse of medicines, or asking for too much medicine.
(Anyone who lives in the same house as me knows about my reluctance to take medicine.)
Saturn in V
She likes method, calculation, concentration. She is not drawn towards amusements, or pleasure in general. She has few friends, but has deep and sincere feelings. She is serious in everything.
(Once again, I'm boring. Extremely. I want to get away from me.)
Uranus represents individual liberty, egoistic liberty.
Uranus in Scorpio
Intelligent and subtle. Adores research, inquiry, investigation. Very sensual.
(This is much more accurate.)
Uranus in VI
She is independent, undisciplined, eccentric and rebellious. She has a blunt character. She has problems in holding down a job, must work independently without relying on anyone else.
(A little of yes, a little of no.)
Neptune represents transcendental liberty, non-egoistic liberty.
Neptune in Sagittarius
Likes long voyages, things foreign, water.
(I'm okay with this.)

Marries for love, to show the depth of her passion, but has a troubled conjugal life.
(no clue.)
51 Sextile Neptune - Pluto
Pluto represents transformations, mutations and elimination.
Pluto in Libra
Brings changes.
House I is the area of self identity. The ascendant is a symbol of how one acts in life. It is the image of the personality as seen by other, and the attitude that one has of life.
Sagittarius ascendant Gemini
Ascendant in Gemini
She is sociable, without a doubt a little gossipy. Tends to forget set objectives. Likes to write.
(Okay, I can be a little gossipy at times. It's not that I forget objectives, I just get distracted by other objectives. And again witht eh writing. Should I take a hint?)
House II is the area of material security.
House II in Gemini
Financial success will be acquired thanks to various activities, frequent changes, be it of the activity or the workplace.
(Hmm...maybe that's in my future? It's not exactly the case right now, though I've been far worse off in the past.)
House III is the area of social and intellectual learning.
House III in Cancer
Any travel that she does will only be to visit family or friends . Family and dear ones are very important to her, they can always count on her in times of difficulty or trouble.
(Well, there goes that world travel I was looking forward to in the eventual future...)

(Eww.)

She does not lack for practical sense to run her business and home: She is ingenious and good with her hands. She is modest and prudish.
(Prudish?)
House VI is the area of learning by material transaction.
House VI in Libra
Above all else, likes good work conditions, a good atmosphere. Weak point: the kidneys.
(What's wrong with my kidneys?)
House VII is the area of social et intellectual action.
House VII in Sagittarius
Either marriage with a foreigner, or a marriage abroad, or marriage with a foreigner abroad.
(I do like foreign accents... :-P )
House VIII is the area of emotional security and of security of the soul.
House VIII in Sagittarius
Death will certainly be in a foreign land or on a journey abroad. Nevertheless this will happen after a long life, when the body is too exhausted to continue. Easy death.
(Wait, I thought I would only ever travel to visit family? Or does this mean I'll kick it while looking for my ancestors in Europe? Either way, it won't happen for a long time.)
House IX is the area of learning that shapes the identity.
House IX in Capricorn
Respects the religion in which she was brought up as a child, still holds this belief.
(Respects? Yeah, I guess so. Still holds to it? Ummm.....yeah, about that...)
Likes justice and loyalty.
House X is the area of material action. The Mid-heaven represents the work one will do in his life, the place one will take in the world of society. It becomes more important as one grows older

Success in teaching. Likes contact with others, to speak and explain.
(I can sorta see this.)
House XI is the area of search for social and intellectual security.

(I have quite a few friends. Sadly, I do not get to see many of them more than very rarely.)
House XII is the area of education and of emotion.
House XII in Aries
Can take initiatives without consulting anyone, even her partner.
(That's cause I'm an independent, instinctive, intrepid free spirit. It already said so. *nods and points upwards*)
