For serious. Is there anyone in my readership who might be interested in going to Greece next year? It looks like
sherara will already be there in the summertime.
Like, seriously. I'm going whether anyone else does or not. But it would be cool to travel with friends. I'm not asking anyone to carve their name in stone right now, I'm just curious who might be interested as an actual possibility.

Date: 2007-03-09 08:39 pm (UTC)And it's cool that you're interested in archaeological work. There's a site where you can look up fieldwork (archaeological.org). Even though they only post things for the current summer (generally), it gives you a good idea of the things that people are doing in and around the country.
I'll keep you updated on my summer plans for next year, in that case. I'm probably going to try for an early Iron Age dig, since that's my focus area. I did one in Pylos two years ago that was just fab, and I would have liked to go back except it's Bronze Age (which I could, frankly, care less about).
