I just talked to my mom.

So apparently my sister's having a cow about the dress and wanting me to pay because she's having to pay extra.

Because she bought the dress pattern without looking at the sizing- the pattern only goes up to a size 10. I'm not a size 10. Another pattern had to be made based on my measurements.

So instead of going and picking out a different pattern with larger sizing, she took it to a professional seamstress to have it done.

*shrug* Not my problem. For serious. As far as I'm concerned, anything to do with me paying for the dress was null and void when she said no to me buying one. And she could have gone with a different pattern. (It's a simple princess-seamed a-line dress with a low v-back. Patterns for dresses like that are a dime a dozen. It's not like it was something rare and unique.)

Nothing else has come up about the hair stylist, I don't know where that stands.

And now, depending on what's going on next week, Mom is going to try to get Mike to come down and pick me up at work on Friday evening so I don't have to buy a train ticket.

This is a good thing.

We'll have to discuss shoes while we're up there. Flats. That's it. Unless shoes can be found with a thick enough heel (They won't be. Not to go with a dress the color of dead flowers.) And that's not a matter of me being obnoxious and picky. I'm not going to put myself in pain or worry about getting injured. (I think I was in 7th grade the last time I walked more than 10 feet in a pair of non-chunky heels, and they were low heels. Mumsie will try to get me into heels. She's funny like that.)
