badstarSo last night while I was on lunch- and he knew I was on lunch- Gary decided to go off and smoke about 20 minutes before my break was over. Set himself in whatever status he was using and was gone til well after my break was over, and then he slept the rest of the night til he got a call around 630.
Since having more than one person on break at a time overnight is a major contract violation, and he knew that I was in the middle of my lunch, I emailed Rich to let him know and cover my assets.
Come in today and find that Rich had sent an email about this. Of course, Gary immediately asks if I know of a time where both of us were unavailable at the same time. I told him that I figured it was about last night when he took a smoke while I was on lunch. Of course he immediately asks if I emailed Rich to tell him this, I just shrugged and said that it would have come up on the status report. I'm not sure he believes me. Don't care really.
Five minutes later he gets up and announces that he's going for a smoke because he needs to "calm his nerves".
Look buddy, if your nerves need calming, it's your own doing. This is about as low-stress as work gets.
