Should I cover an 8-hour shift tonight? It would be overtime.
I don't know. The problem is, I've only slept about 4 hours in the last 24. I don't know that I could actually work 16 hours straight on that.
I have 15 minutes to decide.
I could really use the extra money. It will suck- I didn't bring any dinner, or extra money with me because I normally leave at 11...I've got some snackish things in my filing cabinet.
I'm gonna do it, I need the extra money right now. It's only 4 hours more than one of my regular shifts and I recently switched my desk chair to one that I can sorta turn sideways and lean on the backrest reasonably comfortably and nap a bit (instead of laying on the floor and resting on my backpack)
It's going to be a long night though.
People need to IM me when I hop on AIM.
Unfortunately, this opportunity for a bigger paycheck came because the mother of one of my coworkers passed away. Not only is this very sad, but if I remember correctly, his parents live in Nigeria so I think he has t go over there.
