Dear Rite Aid Fuck Ups,

Due to the fact that I've secured gainful employment elsewhere, I will no longer be requiring that you retain me as one of your underpaid cash register monkeys. If you don't know where to go with your lack of hours, inane rules and inabiliy to properly execute payroll, I'd be happy to get back to you with a few choice suggestions.
My resignation is efective immediately.

However...due to the fact that I have to work there till the end of next week yet and really can't risk them uh, requesting that I quit before then It went pretty much like this:

Me, skipping into store looking all happy, "Hi Bobby? I have some good news. Well, good for me anyway I'm not sure about you guys, though given the hours situation, maybe good news for y'all too, but I've found a new job. I start Monday the 17th."

Bobby, with a blank look, "Okay. Good luck with that then. Uh, do you work tomorrow?"

Personally, I liked the 1st version ;)

I did the same, went to Target with 24 hrs a week from Home Depot with shit fer hours...(6.5-13???)

What's worse is I was hired on the basis that I wanted to work 20-25! So that to me is just BS. If they say, "We'll hire you and we'll give you 20-25 hrs like you want" and then DON'T, man that ticked me off.

But like I said, my APTL at Target said, he'll work me to the max of my availablity if that's what I want :D So 24 hrs it is! Yay!
