I's a question.

I got my nostril pierced in January. Eight months ago.

Since then, the stud has been out of its hole precisely twice. Er, excuse me, three times after tonight. Not that I want to take it out constantly- I don't. but I'd like to be able to take it out- and more importantly, put it back in- without the pain and torture that I experience.

Basically, I can get it out, it kinda hurts to take it out, but it's not hard. Getting the thing back in is a major project taking upwards of twenty minutes. It's one of those studs with a little hooked end.

The problem is this: when I put it back in, the hooked part doesn't go all the way through my nostril to the other side of the hole. So I have to twist and turn and stick my finger in my nose to try and feel for it which it twists through the middle part of my nostril flesh between the outer end of the hole and the inner end. Of course, twisting through said flesh it hits nerves, which cause pain that I can feel in my cheekbone. But I have to keep doing this until it decides to find the right spot through which to exist into said nostril, by which point it's bleeding.

This is far more painful than having the hole punched in my flesh ever was to begin with, and lasts much longer too.

Is my nostril defective or something???
