At This Hour...

I had a ridiculously easy day at work today. Despite an hour long call plus 2 over calls over 30 minutes I ended with a talk time that i'm reasonably sure is under 13 minutes, definitely 14. And the day ending up with a call from a psychotically distraught secretary who sounded like she had sometign stuck in her throat, my day went UNBELIEVEABLY fast. I mean, I could swear I was only at work for 3 hours. Weird. (i'm NOT complaining) And...as I'm sure those of you who care already know, tiger will be released at 6pm pacific time on april 29th.

All I have to say is... "Parental Dictionary Controls."

I've started lookign for more permanent living arrangements, actually contacting people in prospective places at this point.

Reading back through friends journal's over the last few days, I noticed marylithposted an entry "for tech people...especially you fuego"
Is this a bad thing? Hehehehe *Hides*

And I leave you with the quote of he day...(Yes, I'm serious.)

Me: "Okay, now put a disc into the drive..."

Customer (Relaying directions to her husband) "Stick in a disc! No not your dick! Stick in a disc!"

And later, her husband on the line... "I stuck it in most of the way but it wouldn't inhale it."

oh. my. god. she said that and i started giggling. I couldn't stop. I've NEVER done that before on a call.

Welll...Actually, i think i did the time that I got a call where the guy insisted in a most arrogant manner that "You will address me as Mr. Junebug."

And then there was the guy named Bob who said "My name is Bob, but please, Call me "Woozle" really, I prefer it."

Too right there isn't any immunity! I'll never forget that the woman who didn't know she needed her computer connected to a phone line to connect to her dialup account. Or the one who didn't know her computer had to be plugged in for it to work. Or the right now person. And to all the consultants. ... Well. Someone got ripped off.

WHA!!!!!! Yay for Tiger! I wanna see it (and check out Voiceover)! Anyone wanna loan me a Mac for the weekend after tiger comes out? (I've already decided to get Melanie one eventually, and me too, if'n Voiceover works even passably well with the included applications.) Think it's important to let Apple know we support their accessibility efforts so they'll keep doing it.
