I Had A Weekend.

badstarI had a weekend. An actual weekend. Saturday AND Sunday off work. I didn't quite know how to act. Saturday I slept half the day, then went wandering around Towson for a while, took some pictures and stuff. Came home and watched a couple of movies and read.
I just finished reading Dance Of The Dissident Daughter by Sue Monk Kidd...anyone else ever read it? After reading it, there's a whole big massive jumble of stuff going on in my brain (Which I'll probably write more about later...eventually...or something...) For the moment, suffice it to say this book has provoked a rather emotional reaction in me. It kinda reminds me of the first time I ever watched Fearless...except much stronger.
Sunday I woke up and went down to Cedarlight for a better chunk of the day. Spent some time hanging out with People and Being Social. When I went back to the house, I read some more, crocheted some, and dug through my stuff for missing items. Wire-wrapped a couple of Celestite crystals which are now hanging from a third cord on my pentacle and flame necklace. And then I decided to go outside and spin for a while...a while being a good solid hour. I haven't spun at all since Imbolc and haven't for any great length of time since New Year's Eve. My arms are a bit sore today, but it feels good. I may try palm spins the next time I light up (If i'm feeling particularly reckless, I may even try palm spins while spinning myself in the opposite direction)
