I knew that there is a lot of superstition in Jamaica, but... ....He issued a warning to parents to be careful of some of the toys they pick up at fast food stores as sometimes they are carrying home accursed objects.....

The absurdity makes me want to laugh, but...I dunno. I know that there are those who look at things that I believe in and say it's just as ridiculous...Does laughing my ass off at this make me a hypocrite? (I'm really not sure I want the answer... :-P )

theres lots of spiritual stuff that goes on in the world that we just cant comprehend. i'm (hopefully) not going to laugh at someone else's attempt to shed some light on the mysteries of the world.

aside from that, ever read 'e pluribus unicorn,' by theodore sturgeon? creepy voodoo type concept in one of the stories. *shudder*
