Remind me not to do yard work at the Grove again *grumble*
Right now I have so many mosquito bites, it almost looks like my legs are swolen.
Actually, I knew I was getting them yesterday when they happened. But at the time, they weren't bothering me. I've had bites before where they just show up as a tiny red mark, and never itch. That's what they were doing. Flat little red mark, no itch, no nuffin'.
Then this morning I woke up to some REALLY intense itching. The bites are like 4 times the size they were yesterday, and all puffed up.
I know that they're mosquito bites cause I saw a ot of the bites hapen, theyre in the same spots as the little tiny red marks were. It's nothing caused by plants because I didn't contact any plants that would do such a thing. Mostly, I was just watering the lawn with the garden hose.
If I can remember to, before I leave for Delaware on Friday night, I'm going to get some unscented lotion and mix in some clove and tea tree oil (And marigold oil if i can find it, but I'm not counting on that). Clove and tea tree is a combination that will repel bugs (used it before. Not quite as effective as something like Off!, but FAR less yucky. Bug spray is just nasty. Ew.) Maybe I should try to get citronella oil for that too.
OK, must go to store and get something for the bites before I scratch my skin raw.
