Face Of Nonproductivity

I woke up late today and went out wandering around for a while. Then I came home, watched House Of Flying Daggers. (The story seems a little better this time than it did with previous viewings. Visually, it still astounds me no question about that. I love beautiful movies.) I also crocheted a bit on my blanket.

I did not, however WRITE A BLASTED RITUAL.

*Bangs head on conveniently-placed brick wall*

I went looking on the internet for some inspiration. Search results were VERY Wiccan-centric, with heavy use of the word "magick" (BIG pet peeve) and much more catering to the solitary set.

And then there's the one about excorcising creatures from water in the name of Cernnounos and Aradia.

Perhaps I don't know enough about Cernnounos....but seems an odd combination with Aradia. Excorcising the creatures of the water?

forgive my ignorance... so your group is not wiccan oriented. but what is it? is it a druid type thing? i'm just curious. i'm sure you've prolly told me before and i've forgotten. :-)

I totally understand what you mean...I'm thankful to have discovered my friend Justin who follows a older Gaelic path and found my way, but if I hadn't found him, I'd still be floundering around in old Wiccan stuff that just doesn't feel right to me.

Good luck writing your ritual, it'll hit you when it's meant to.

Maybe it's all the Silver Ravenwolf books or something, but I've never had an interest in Wicca. A little too cermonial, and I'm not entirely sure what else.

I'm following a slightly darker Gaelic path now. It's complicated.
