I caught a cold. I'm getting over it now, but gee, it's just a bit early for me to be getting a cold. Oh well...Over and done with.

Party Friday would have been fun...except for one thing. Chelle went along. And I was coming down with this blasted cold. Okay, 2 things. I could have killed my sister, she decided to announce to several people that the constable came to the house to collect my per capita tax since I hadn't paid it. How nice. As if her lending me the money I owed gave her the right to go blabbing my business to a party full of people.

And somehow, she managed to get a date out of the whole thing? Geez, I'm really doing something wrong.

No i'm not, the guy must be a moron. Even though he SEEMED fairly intelligent.

Happier Stuff...

I had an interview yesterday for a job with a commercial photography studio in Greenfield...the shadowlight Group. Got called back today for a second interview, but that's not til next week.

Mom told me last night that noe of the people they know from karaoke, Bobby used to be a roadie or something for John Mellencamp....and he doesn't have a label right now, isn't touring or recording or anyhing...soooo.....

Bobby's going to ask him this weekend when he goes to Pittsburgh for the Farm Aid benefit concert if he'll come to Lancaster and do a benefit concert for the Make-A-Wish foundation....they're like 95% sure he'll do it. And if it happens, they're going to do it in Alex's name!!!! Woohoo!!!

(for those who don't know...alex was my best friend in high school, died of cancer in the middle of senior year, got to go to Colorado for a ski trip thanks to Make A Wish)

Anyone Using Or Thinking About Using Excel Communications For Long Distance???

Well...if so, here's a bit of interesting info....

They charge you EVERY time you make a call, even if you get a busy signal or a ring with no answer. This was confirmed to me by one of their customer service reps. We got the phone bill today and it finally occured to my mom why there are always so damned many one-minute charges. On this phone bill alone, we estimate that we probably got charged for at least $15 worth of calls that never actually connected.

Pass the info along if you know of anyone looking for a long distane provider. This really isn't fair. Their rates aren't any lower than anyone else (10 cents/minute)

However...don't make a spam email out of it....the karma just won't be pretty.
