'Scuse Me While I Go Find A Brick Wall Against Which To Bang My Head...

SO the stupid temp job I've been working since Christmas and was supposed to work for another 2 1/2 weeks yet ended today. Well...ended for me. They kept some of the others for a few days yet. What really pisses me off is that I'd been there longer than anyone else. Since the job started, before Christmas. And two of the people who are staying got into a fight today...a fight which involved a third person being kicked off the job.

WHY THE HELL DID THIS HAPPEN? I'm moving in 2 1/2 weeks dammit, and I have 2 bills due in the next week. I'm talking about like, $550 that I would have had if the job had lasted as long as I was told. Because Of these damned bills, I'll have like $100 left when I pay them. I CAN'T got to baltimore with just $100.

I had a feeling this would happen once I pinned down a day to move.

Ok...I can do this. Dave says they've been getting most people out working every day, so I just have to go to the office tomorrow morning. Nevermind that I have to be there before the busses start running and the work access thing doesn't apply to temp services. I'll figure something out. Pizza Slut down the street is hiring. I can apply there, work there for a few weeks if I can get hired. Or Burger King. Gross. To hell with it, I have no shame.

Ladies and gentlemen, it is now time to sell my soul. Or at least rent it out for a few weeks.

It's going to be ok. I am still moving. Dammit, my throat itches.

WHY are there pop-up ads that say "Stop annoying pop-up ads!"

I'm sick of sneezing so hard it feels like the rof of my mouth just ripped out. Sick of blowing my nose every 3.46 seconds (And I haven't so much as LOOKED at the bottle of rosemary oil. Hot soup with red pepper apparently unstuffs your nose...whether it needs it or not.) Sick of my throat and ears itching like a fiend. Sick of my mom insisting I have all sorts of allergies. (We're talking about a once or twice a year thing that doesn't happen at any particular time, and Even if I HAD eaten one of the entire two things I'm allergic to, It wouldn't be giving me upper respiratory ickiness. So there Mom.)

Oh yeah...and I found a Rhythm Syndicate CD in the 99-cent bin at CD Warehouse last week. I had to get it on general principle. Hehehe....memories of 1991 or something.

and my most momentous accomplishment for yesterday was to paint my fingernails pink and teal. How cute. How Spring. How easter-egg chic.
