So Remind Me To Stay Away From My Parents Next Time They Mention Charity Auctions...

Theyre doing another one. Anotehr charity auction, this one they had several months advance planning and notice...then they still waited til the week before to go looking for donations. Mom woke me up Tuesday, wandered into my room without warning while I was asleep, wanted to know why I had no clothes on, then Starts going on about these phone calls she wants me to make while she and Mike are away. Leaves my room, then leaves the house. My only thoughtwas "Oh.....fuck."

These businesses she wanted me to call...I couldn't read the page...my mom's writing makes most doctors look like professional calligraphers...and half the names she had wrong and I couldn't find them in the book. I ended up getting maybe 2 donations.

Yesterday, same drill...though she actually recopied the list so it was semi-legible. I got maybe 3 donations.

No way I was doing that today.

I had to pack.
