(no subject)

Current happenings in the gulf (Not that gulf! The other gulf! Okay, both gulfs now.) are uttery devastating and reading news and stuff makes me feel so helpless that I can't do anything. I say we all go to Sam's club or something and get a giant wholesale pack of paper towels and motor on down there and mop up the city with 'em. What to do after that/ I dunno, I just come up with the brilliant ideas. I'm not so great on the execution side of things sometimes. It's absurd, and I'm not trying to belittle the situation...but outlandish ideas are what I turn to when faced with a moment of "Duh...Um...dude, I can give money to the red cross, but besides that...oh yeah, I can watch media coverage...which benefits...the tv networks?" Ya know?

If you're in Hunt Valley and you like wrap sandwiches, check out "Roly Poly (Actually, they have a place down on Calvert too, though I'm not sure if they have delivery down there.) I think 20 minutes is the longest I've ever waited and that was in the middle of lunch hour rush. just ordered a lunch today...I swaer it was no more than 5 minutes from the time I put down the phone til I was called out to the lobby. Superhuman I tell ya. And the food is soooooo yummy.

Only thing is, there are no pineapple, sundried tomatoes or roasted peppers on my sandwich, but then...how were they supposed to know that I wanted them when I never asked? Must remember next time.
