do any of the fire people in my readership have any extra kevlar wick that they want to get rid of or don't need?

i'm looking for 5-6 feet of flat wick, about 3" wide (width negotiable)

Let me know how much you want for it. I don't feel like ordering and waiting for it to arrive if I can avoid it.

Also...if anyone in Baltimore can point me in the direction of a sporting goods store/tennis pro shop...I need racquet grip.

So I just called Kelly Services to see what was up since it's been a week and I talked to someone there. She said that my background check is either complete or *almost* complete, didn't give any details, but did ask if I would be available starting next monday, and that she would try to give me a call back by the end of my lunch break...

Mrph. I have to write a full moon ritual for the weekend. Ummmmm...since when was it not good enough to have a briliant idea and say "the creative process is our creative offering"????

And I need to write the workshop on fire sometime in the next few weeks. Otherwise, people will be subjected to endless hours of me rambling on and on about fire, myths, deities, associations, blah blah blah...probably in a most incoherent (to you, not me. It'll all make perfect sense to me) way. Anyone reading from the Grove? Kat? Jack? Steph? Jesse? Crystal? That means you. Talk to me. *shakes fist in the vague direction of The Grove*

I'm feeling kinda hurty from spinning for about an hour and a half yesterday, and tossing the staff and letting it drop down onto my arm like I did. But it's that good hurt. Not quite "I just spun for four days and I'm gonna be sore for a week" hurt...but a prelude if you will.

Since the weather is getting nicer, I'm going to be teaching Jackie how to spin. i've shown people how to do certain things...and I've had people ask me to teach before, but this will be my first real actually teaching someone how to spin. I am excited.

My Dedicant's Program work continues. It's going well. I've fallen out of the weekly-assignment structure. Oh well. I think working on it in my own time frame is more constructive for me. and the structure is aways there for me to pick up again as I see fit...or thumb my nose at. Cause I can.

Where did "thumbing one's nose" begin?

Now I'm just being silly.
