If you were not at our house warming/house warding ritual, you should have been. Oh, trust me you should have been. You just don't understand what you missed.

However, we had plenty of fun without you. So there. :-P

This is my Fire Gate altar from the house warding ritual. I'm amazed with how detailed the incense smoke is...and if you look above the candle flames, you can see little ghostly heat lines!

Oh, and it was not intentional that everyhting was color-coordinated.

Fire/Hestia Altar

The three-candle Fire Gate now resides in my bedroom. I have what is essentially a Fire Altar (I lit the candles just to take these pictures. My room was comfortably cool and the air conditioning running...I was taking pictures for 10, mybe 15 minutes and by that time my room had heated up so much that I was coated in sweat.)

Two More!

For those of you who haven't seen my house, in my bedroom, there are two deep shelves set into the wall. They're so perfect! The bottom one is just about at my knee-height. The second one is a few feet above it.
