Oct. 26th, 2006 09:09 amLast weekend I took that class at Hopkins.
I sat in a classroom for....eight....hours.
It was an awesome class, and the guy teaching was great- Maurice Soltes, he's a professor at Georgetown who has also taught at Hopkins in the past and also speaks from time to time at the Smithsonian. I'm REALLY happy that I had the opportunity to do this. But...whoa. I need to go back and reread a lot of the material. I mean, we flew through it like no one's business. I'll post more about it when I make more sense of it.
Also, I have to do a workshop at the Grove at some point covering the topic- stuff from the class, plus whatever I want to add in about Greco-Roman religion, mythology etc.
I've been at work for almost two hours now. Time flies.
