Nov. 8th, 2006 11:57 amOh, boy do I love sitting at work with so much to do that my computer goes to screensaver.
Right now I'm knitting a scarf for charity. Courney from the Grove said soemthing about making a big box of scarves to take to a homeless shelter or something. And I've got some yarn sitting here that I'll never use for myself. It's pretty but it's acryllic. I hate the feeling of acryllic. However, if it can be used to help kep someone warm...why not do somehting good with it? Actually I think I have enough here for a couple of scaves. And i'm using big needles, so it's going quickly.
speaking of the Grove, I need to get moving with the last bits of my DP. i've only rewritten my personal religion essay like 8 times. Maybe 9 by now. I keep trying to figure out how uch of the minutiae I want/need/should actually include...and I keep cutting it down...and it's still far too long, and I feel like I'm leaving out the actually important details- though I'm probably not.
I'm also trying to figure out what I'm doing with the Dedicant's Oath. I want to have this thing finished by or very soon after the new year. I wanted to do the Dedicant's Oath as a group with some of my other Grovemates who are getting close to finishing the DP, and had been talking about doing it at Yule...now it looks like that won't happen. Someone mentioned waiting til Imbolc. I'm not waiting that long. I'm sorta questioning if I want to do it as a group thing antmore...though I think I'd like to. There's a lot to consider for a group effort. Either way, I need to figure out what I'm doing here.
