Jan. 23rd, 2006 10:57 pmSo I was going to watch The Other Side Of Sunday...but I pulled it out of the envelope and it was broken. Gotta send it back and get another copy.
So I watched November Moon, which is about two women who fall in love in nazi-occupied France. One of them is a Jew who's hiding out from the nazis.
I can't really say that I *enjoyed* the movie. It was worth watching. It was bleak and tragic, and I didn't expect it to end as it did. I cried several times, and I can't remember the last time a movie left me feeling like a ton of bricks had just come to rest in my stomach. A Hollywood cliché it was not.
