Feb. 6th, 2006 01:14 pmTangerines smell like Christmas. They do. There's no reason for me to say that either.. When I was little, my grandparents took me to a party every year at some club they belonged to, and they always gave the kids a lttle wrapped, grab-bag type present, a box of candy and an orange the size of a volleyball.
But oranges don't smell like Christmas.
When I listen to Imogen Heap, I think of reading Harry Potter...this one is easy to explain. I first started listening to Imogen Heap right around the time I first read the Harry Potter books, and I did both while on the light rail to and from work. Though, I've reread the books a couple of times...I don't generally think of Imogen Heap when reading Harry Potter books.

Date: 2006-02-06 06:50 pm (UTC)as for the modification...i used coffee instead of water, and I ground hazlenuts, nutmeg, red pepper and cinnamon into the coffee in the grinder before brewing. I honestly dont know how much, I just do it by sight. It was probably about 1/8 teaspoon each of red pepper and hazlenuts, some pieces of a cinnamon stick that i broke up and tossed in, and a couple of spinkles of nutmeg (nutmeg is strong and could easily overpower and ruin the whole thing. I err on the leser side, more of any of the spices can be sprinkled in when you mix up the mix- I do that a little at a time and taste it as i go.
