Does music ever sound like a certain time of day to you? Or color?

"Run" by Collective Soul sounds like night. And it sounds like dark blue velvet. With a slate blue satin chorus. And a bit of gold in the high notes.

Actually yes it does, times of day, seasons, colors, emotions and memories. For most (even those that don't realize or want ot admit it) music is a very strong guiding force in our lives. It can set or enhance a mood or inspire to perform action's that under normal circumstances that we wouldn't just get up and do of our own accord (clean, exercise, write, sleep....).

A particular mood/location/time of day/smell will remind me of a song.
