One Of Those Days.
Apr. 1st, 2006 01:27 pmWhatever "Those" days are.
Working on my Dedicant Program. Breaks here and there to carefuly and methodicaly read the internet and play some random bits of Super Mario 3.
Or should that be read random bits of the internet and carefully and methodically play Super Mario 3. Cause one of these days I'm going to beat that game.
Little-known fact (which really should come as no surprise to most people) I've never beaten a video game in my life.
Wait..did I beat Rygar? I might have beaten Rygar, but I *think* that may have been my brother. It was a great letdown either way.
I also need to do some laundry. Return some library books. Exchange those sandals that I got not too long ago because I grabbed a size too big. Need to find the receipt. Watch a couple of Netflix movies. Separate some books to take to the Grove- I'm going to leave some of my book there that I don't currently have needs to use. I'm not donating them because I still want to keep them. I have some other books that I AM donating that Rick and Rhi can send to the paperbook exchange site that they've been using to get more books. Speaking of which..I should look into that myself.
I was off work at 930 last night, on the way out was offered a ride home by a coworker. We ended up hanging around the office for a bit longer with a few other people. Yesterday was Toms last day and he decided he was going to cause some mayhem on his computer and um...used a few interesting commands.
Nothing a good reformatting won't fix. They'd do that anyway.
Then he decided to pull 512MB of memory from his computer. Offered it to any of us. Everyone seemed to think he meant "who wants to swipe company property and take it home?" He meant "who wants to put this in their work machine?" I took it. So I got a memory upgrade to my computer. For a whole month. HA! Ten we left and through the course of random conversation, I found out that this particular coworker knows Bridget and her sister from somwhere they used to work a few years ago.
I can't get away from it. That's it. I'm moving to Tokyo. Big city, I know no one there, completely new people! No circles wherever I go. Yeah...that's it. Hah!
Time for coffee and more precise, methodical reading of the interwebs.

Date: 2006-04-01 09:02 pm (UTC)I'm trying to get caught up, slowly and surely. How's the DP going for you? (I think our next session for that is 4/16 at the Grove, BTW.)
