May. 4th, 2006 02:41 pmSo I just went out, did some errands, dropped off aplications, stopped at the bank, etc and was walking back over Mt Royal Ave and saw a sign on a door: receptionist wated, no experience necessary, will train, daytime or evening.
So I walked in the door, and the owner of the ffive- it's a physical therapy practive, was there, I spoke to her briefly- she was really busy, but gave me her business card and asked me to give a call and leave a message to set up an interview with her assistant. She asked a few questions- if I lived in the area, if I have any sort of relevant experience (But either way, it was ok)
So I took a card and left her to her patients and will give a call here in a few minutes.
You know how first impressions are such a big deal? Well in the maybe two minutes I was in the office, this lady just seemed to radiate pure joy and kindness- even in the middle of a busy physical therapy practice. I mean, I know that first impressions can always be wrong, but if I had to choose to work there or not based on that, I would.
Oh...the other thing...it's right around the corner from the house! Right beside the BP at the top of the exit ramp on St Paul.
edit: I have an interview tomorrow at 230! yay!!!!
