We have DSL now, as of about noon. Set the computer up last night, and the DSL stuff but couldn't get connected. One nightmarish call to tewch support later and I was told there was a problem with the line and someone would come oput today, but they would call me in the morning to let me know when.

So I get a call just after 8am that someone would be out TOMORROW. 'Scuse me? I thought you said tomorrow. Yeah. She did, but I told her I was told that someone would be out today and I get an "Oh, ok we can do that to. Okay someone will be there between 8am and 5pm. They'll call when they're on the way.

So of couse I'm thinking 459pm, right? got a call a little before noon "Hi this is Verizon. We'll be there in about 10 minutes. They were here in about 5. Went out to check the lines first of all, found one needed fixed. One fixed line later, et voila! I was pretty impressed.

No major news since the last update. Oh yeah, there is. But I'm going to put that in a friends-only post. (I'll explain why when I post it)

Midsummer is fast approaching, and I have written and will be leading the Grove's ritual. [livejournal.com profile] pagandenma has volunteered to play hostess/food coordinator (Which is a new thing and VERY much needed, methinks)

In case the question has crossed anyone's mind, I'm not planning to bring the firestaff this time around. I have enough on my mind I think :-)

Actually, I'm pretty excited. I had written up invocations and such when first writing the ritual, but things got changed around a little bit and I decided to use Homeric Hymns instead. I'm excited for the ritual, I'm excited that other people are excited, and i'm nervous, but I'm also pretty jazzed about the idea of leading.

More thoughts and stuff in a bit.
