...and not getting my hopes up, but last night, my most recent roommate, Keith came in and we were talknig about job situations a bit. He does help desk for the District Of Columbia. Asked me if I might be interested in doing the same thing- not a job offer- he's not in a hiring position- but is pretty sure he can get me in. It's currently a contract job, but will be changing over to a government job by October...and almost doubling in salary- which is already nearly twice what I was making before.

We'll see.
