I got a Mac last night. G3 tower from an ex coworker. Wireless mouse, monitor. (I'm not keeping the monitor though)

I realized that I am now in the ownership of three computers, and the current guardian of one more. rolsby says that this makes me a materialistic nerd...hehehe. (Note: The Evil will be ejected from my house as soon as dcnblus wants to cart it away and convert it back to a Linux box, or whatver else he would do to it. From here on out, I have my own Windows messes!

Now I need a router. And a really long ethernet cable. resident_geek? And eventually an ethernet adapter.

I'm getting dropped into a training class for the new position on Monday. A class that is already two weeks in. Awesome. Or not.

I just found out that as of 4/1, I will have company paid life, short term and long term disability insurance. Woohoo!

chironcentaur, in case I forget, I just put the disc with your files in my backpack to bring home tonight.

Umm...i think that's it for now. If anything else of note comes up, I will be sure to post it here.

I thought the G3 towers had built-in ethernet?
I know the later ones did at least. And the early ones are... problematic.. to get OSX onto.

the adapter is for another computer that only has USB ports.
