How did repeating a preposition become a soothing phrase? It makes no sense.


In other news, I just heard that my least favorite person in the office is leaving for a new job.

that probably happened around the same time that "here, here!" became a cheer.

i don't understand the whys or hows of it, but that's the English language for you. it's one giant amalgam of nonsense. :)
