Jun. 6th, 2007 05:23 pmI just conferred with Caryn...I'm down to the last bits. All I need is my dedicant's oath rite/essay and I am done. Which of course, I'm all "But what do I do for that????" over it. Not that I don't know what I can do, but what I want to do. Nothing fancy is required, I don't even have to have anyone present to witness it. I should just write something simple and do it already, right? No crazy over-analysis of not doing this or that just right with just the right details blah blah blah...just do it, dammit.
I totally forgot I still had some mango salsa in the fridge and a bunch of rice.
Brown rice+ semi-spicy mango salsa+ some additional chopped tomato+ some shredded fresh basil leaves= quite yummy. And I now have a bunch of basil drying in the oven. And I need to get ready and leave soon for work.
I was talking to my mom last night long about 3 in the morning- she called me after she got home from doing a show, and in response to me telling her that I was sitting there playing minesweeper...
Mom: "So who's to say that this company isn't going to up and decide that they don't need overnight support if no one calls all night?"
Me: "I suspect that the companies that pay millions of dollars for private support access numbers and for me to sit here on the off chance that they might call might have a thing or two to say about it."
Mom: "Oh. So you're not just doing general public support?"
Me: "No. I'm 'Elite'."
Mom: "Uh-huuuuuuh."
Me: "Hey, they said it not me. I just didn't argue."
Mom: "You're weird."
