okay as in "gets your vote of acceptable for use", or ok as in "well, maybe if AIM, MNS, ICQ and Yahoo weren't available and I *really* needed to get ahold of someone..."

good to know.

I can't use AIM or any other such at work, but I can use thigns like gmail messenger, I haven't looked to closely at LJ's to see if it's a download or if it's on the website. So I might do that and see if I can use it when bored at work. (well, technically not supposed to but no one really cares all that much as long as it's not somehting that you download....)

I only use it in conjunction with things like Trillian or Pidgin, but then again I'm to the point where no one service is good enough to justify its own client. I would use one of the modified AIM clients if I had to use a single service these days.
