My fingernails are currently long enough that they don't look like total trash if I paint them anythign besides really pale colors...so to that end, they are this deep deep purple that when looked at from some angles looks fuschia, and from other angles, has this green iridescence.I'm thinking of putting a coat of this other purple/teal color-shifting nail polish over it (tried it on a single nail earlier today. the effect of one color over the other is really cool. I like it muchly.)

In other news, I'm not going to Summerland after all, travel plans did not jive. So I decided to go to my 10-year class reunion instead.

Oh sounds pretty!
Almost sounds worth letting my nails grow out. They grow almost freakishly fast and are very strong and flexible (hence not alot of issues with breaking or tearing). I religiously cut them every weekend so that they don't get in the way of my violin practice... but still.. *sigh*
I do miss painting my nails :)

My nails aren't long at all, two of them are just beyond my fingertips, and the others are just about fingertip length...they're not long, but because I've had bitten-down nails all my life, they look long to me. I couldn't let them gro any longer than they are now, so I'll have to keep filing them down from time to time (assuming that I don't start biting them again)

I also have longish nailbeds...except for my pinkies, I have a good 3/4" of nail before they hit the fingertip anyway.
