(no subject)

I'm working another Thursday overnight. The coworker that I covered the shift for for a few weeks...completely missing in action. All anyone knows is that he went to Nigeria and hasn't been back to work or contacted anyone. I do hope he's ok.

It's so strange, working my normal 12 hour Wednesday night/Thursday morning shift, coming home and getting less than 4 hours sleep, then coming back and working 16 hours...by the time Friday morning rolls around, I want to be out of there, sure. and by the time I get home, I'm falling right to sleep. but I'm not dead on my feet the way I occasionally am after a 12-hour shift which was preceded by something in the neighborhood of 7-8 hours of sleep.

Oh goody, another 9 hours of quiet, computer, livejournal....and I get to be here in the morning when bagels are delivered. First crack at 'em, yeah. Bagels with real veggie cream cheese (I mean it;s like eating a small salad on your bagel.) The only time I voluntarily eat raw onions.

You know, maybe I can help. I just found out today that I have a recently deceased relative in Nigeria who was worth some money. I'll contact the people I just wired my life savings to and see if they can find your friend.
