badstarI made tacos last night for dinner. They were good, I should do that more often. Had plenty of everything left over, so I made some more tonight. Tonight's were even better, I think.
Getting the internet connected was a bit of a pain, seeing as the original tech left before the job was completed and they had given me a modem that was registered to someone else, and couldn't remove the registration or push mine over it so another tech had to be sent out with another mode...you get the idea. BUT it was a much quicker time than I ever had with either Verizon or Cavalier. So...yeah.
Watched a couple of movies this weekend..The Warrior, which was pretty good. Though, I must admit, I like the highly-choreographed martial arts flicks better. (I'm not in it for realism. Yay for gorgeous choreography) and I watched Hero. So many beautiful scenes. Like the part in the red fight where Broken Sword is writing the character on the huge scroll as all the arrows fly around him. Or the fight on the lake. But The Warrior was still pretty good. I think I liked Warriors Of Heaven And Earth better though.
I also watched part of Bladerunner and part of White.
I acquired a new incense burner yesterday, made of wood with brass inlays of a vine with leaves that look very much like they're intended to be grape leaves. And I am reminded that I need to increase altar space in my room. The one I have was intended for a single deity. Not two possibly three major deities with two to three other er, non-major deities.
I've noticed that when I burn incense, if Ferarri's in the room, she tends to pick up the scent of the incense. So the other day, I had an awapuhi-scented cat.
