Dec. 15th, 2007 11:17 pmYay for (mostly) recovered sense of taste! I was able to taste my dinner (rather garlicky chicken with broccoli and pasta)
I'm coughing almost incessantly now. It sucks, but for me, it's generally a sign that the cold is on its way out. Let's hope for consistency. Unfortunately, my throat is feeling fairly beat up for it. I've taken some more medicine, which has quieted my cough significantly but not done away with it completely. I chocked on a piece of broccoli earlier and while I know I swallowed it right in the end, it's still felt like something is caught at the base of my throat since then and it's annoying.
Gah, I hate oil heat....our heaters are far too noisy. The one in my room hisses and clanks loudly (it sounds like there's a cappuccino machine in my room that's going off for about ten minutes at a time. Some of the ones in the other room just clank around, though nothing like mine.
*sigh* I've got to deal with this all winter?

Date: 2007-12-16 02:44 pm (UTC)For the coughing, get yourself a humidifier for your bedroom. It should help things in that respect, along with the parched feeling in your throat/nose when you wake up. Dry air sucks.
