Date: 2008-02-06 08:39 pm (UTC)I hope you forgive me for not reciprocating in kind; I read more people than I can keep up with as it is, and therefore try to limit it to people I in some manner know. In any case, it's lovely to meet you.

Date: 2008-02-06 10:29 pm (UTC)Which also brings me to point out the obvious there that finding the word "delight" in a food name does not keep me from trying it.
Triple Delight is not something that I've ever ordered for one of two reasons- 1. I don't like the selection of vegetables- bamboo, snow peas, water chestnuts and mini corn are not vegetables that I like. 2. A less common reason is that in some places, the vegetables are just broccoli and soemtimes a few sliced carrots, in which case it's usually just another iteration of some other dish on the menu.
In either case, the fact that I find the word "delight" creepy is just a bonus. I think I've joked about refusing to eat anything with "delight" in the name, but it's not actually the case.
"Surprise" on the other hand...
